What is ERA Middle East and how does it operate?
ERA Middle East is the Master Franchisee for ERA Real Estate Franchise Systems tm in the Middle East, and is owned and operated by AQAR Middle East. The company was established as a joint stock company in March 2004 in the Dubai Free Zone Area. ERA Real Estate is one of the world's leading real estate brokerage franchise companies, with more than 38,000 real estate brokers in over 3,000 offices worldwide, spanning the U.S.A. and 50 other countries. ERA Middle East has launched its unique services in the Middle East and has started the sale of its franchising network in the Middle Eastern market.

The company operates through the sale of master country franchises (establishing a country head office and recruiting qualified investors/partners while itself investing a significant percentage of capital) which in turn sell the ERA Franchisee License to eager investors who wish to launch and operate their own ERA Real Estate Brokerage firms.


What is franchising?
A franchise is a legal and commercial relationship between the owner of a trademark, service mark, trade name or advertising symbol and an individual or group seeking the right to use that Identification in a business. The franchise agreement governs the method for conducting business between the two parties.

What can a franchise do for me that I cannot do for myself?
A franchise is already a functioning business system. While entrepreneurs must utilize thousands, millions or even billions of dollars in order to set up a profitable business model, a franchisee can step into an already established concept, with much less risk for failure involved. By listing your property with us, we guarantee to accurately price your property and to create the maximum marketing exposure for it through:

  • Photograph your home for marketing and promotional use.
  • Place an ad for your home in one of the leading national newspapers.
  • Arrange for an open house for your home at least once during the period of your agreement (available for homes where an Open House is applicable).
  • Submit a photo and a description of your home in ERA Egypt's Monthly Magazine, at least once during the period of your agreement.
  • Provide you with Yard and Building Signs for your home.
  • Contact you regularly to report the selling progress of your home, and review your competitive selling position every 30 days.

What is an exclusive listing?
A written contract between the property owner and a real estate broker, whereby the owner promises to pay a fee or commission to the broker if certain real property of the owner is sold during a stated period, regardless of whether the broker is or is not the cause of the sale. The broker promises to put forth his or her best efforts to sell the property, and make specific promises as to advertising and other promotion in certain instances.
